Kidproof Canada® has a simple strategy – to protect kids and give information that is useful and will make families feel more in control of their safety.  Wherever there are children, there is a need for Kidproof.  We don’t just provide safety education, we provide peace of mind.

Kidproof programs are directed towards children aged 5 – 16 years and are extremely niche focused and very specific.  Beginning with only 2 programs, our portfolio has grown to 14 with new programs launched on an annual basis.  Proactive and preventative in nature, our personal safety programs teach children what to do if they become lost, how to be safe when at home alone, internet safety, and much more.  We are proud that the Kidproof Babysitter’s Training program is one of the most widely delivered in Canada.

About Samantha Wilson

Internationally recognized expert in child and family safety – Samantha Wilson, President  & Founder of Kidproof Canada® has dedicated her life to raising awareness, and offering solutions that help keep kids safe in today’s changing world.  A former police officer, Samantha received fantastic, informative, cutting edge child safety information that was only being shared by law enforcement and other helping agencies. The information was not "top secret" but had no way of reaching those who needed it most - parents.  So she formed Kidproof to do just that.

Samantha is regularly featured on TV, radio and in newspaper stories, for her insight and advice on a variety of topics – some of which include the Montel Williams Show, Parents Magazine, CTV, Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail.  She is the 2005 winner of Top 40 under 40 Awards, and is a Finalist in the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 Awards for Social Entrepreneur category.

Additionally, Samantha is the Author of all Kidproof programs including the highly acclaimed Parenting book Safe Kids, Safe Families (HarperCollins).
