Kidproof NEWS Community Coordinator

Kidproof Canada, the nation's leading child safety educators, is seeking Kidproof NEWS Community Coordinators to work in our newest division Kidproof MEDIA.

This is a work-from-home position that requires someone with excellent organization and communication skills and a dedication and desire to help us bring vital information to your community.

The Job:

Kidproof NEWS is a FREE monthly safety/parenting print edition of our famous Kidproof NEWS e-zine. This is a monthly publication that is expanding rapidly across Canada and we are looking for community coordinators in your area.

The successful candidate will be required to help us grow Kidproof NEWS print edition throughout their community.

This will include identifying local businesses ( i.e. children’s centres, schools, hospitals, doctor's offices, coffee shops, and other child/family focused organizations) who wish to advertise and/or display Kidproof NEWS in their establishment.

Your Role:

Your role as a Kidproof NEWS community coordinator is:

To offer/sell monthly advertising space to local businesses who they feel would benefit from being listed in their local Kidproof NEWS print edition.
To identify local establishments who will benefit from displaying FREE copies of Kidproof NEWS for their customers.
To receive and distribute monthly editions of Kidproof NEWS to authorized establishments.
To submit all sales and circulation reports on time.

Your Qualifications:

Works exceptionally well independently
Reliable and professional
Strong communicator (both written and spoken)
Excellent English (both written and spoken)
Organized and Professional
Skilled in MS Word, Outlook, and Internet
Has ability to manage work-from-home set up
Has computer and reliable vehicle
Goal driven

The Pay:

This is a part time position and pay is based on performance with well above average earnings.

Community coordinators are hired as contract workers and may be hired to coordinate several papers within their area.
